Just upstairs from the Italian madhouse that is Eately, La Birreria is the Italian take on German beer gardens. The outdoor space is small in comparison to the vast expanse downstairs, but the food - as expected - is delicious and the wine and beer are constantly flowing. In fact, La Birreria got together with Dogfish Head, Baladin, and Del Borgo breweries to craft their own unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally carbonated ales right on the premises.

Beware that the line for La Birreria can be overwhelming, with waiting times past two hours. Diners are encouraged to shop around Eately with text message pagers until their tables are ready. However, as of July 1, 2011, Birreria offers reservations for parties of six or more, so waiting may be a thing of the past if you're planning on having your next celebration at La Birreria.
